One of our recent projects involved a client who required a 10.8~12V 15Ah battery pack. Initially, we proposed using a LiFePO4 Battery (32140-15Ah-4S) configuration. However, the client's height requirement exceeded the limits of this design, leading us to explore alternative options.
To meet the client's specifications, we re-engineered the solution using a 21700 5Ah-3S3P configuration. This new design met all of the client's requirements, including a single-row arrangement for the cells. Since the discharge current requirement was low, we integrated a BMS that supports a 6.8A current. The final product perfectly aligned with the client’s needs and provided the desired performance.
