FAQ

  • Q What are the costs and fees associated with purchasing batteries from your company?

    A

Purchasing batteries from our company involves several costs and fees, including the product cost, shipping fees, customs and import duties, payment processing fees, packaging and handling fees, additional service fees, and taxes. To ensure a smooth purchasing experience, especially for buyers unfamiliar with shipping processes, we offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) service. This service includes all fees in the shipping quote and delivers directly to the buyer's door, providing a convenient solution for your battery procurement needs.

Product Cost: The primary cost is the price of the batteries themselves. This cost varies based on the type, capacity, and quantity of batteries you order. We offer competitive pricing and bulk discounts for larger orders.

Shipping Fees: Shipping fees depend on the destination, shipping method, and the weight of your order. We offer multiple shipping options to accommodate different timelines and budgets. Our team can provide a detailed shipping quote based on your specific requirements.

Customs and Import Duties: If you are ordering from outside of China, your shipment may be subject to customs and import duties. These fees vary by country and are typically the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend checking with your local customs office for an estimate of these costs.

DDP Service (Delivered Duty Paid): For buyers who are unfamiliar with shipping processes, we offer a DDP service. This service includes all related fees in the shipping quote and ensures delivery directly to your door. By selecting our DDP service, you can enjoy a hassle-free experience as we handle all the logistics and customs processes for you. Simply inform us of your preference for DDP in your request, and we will provide a comprehensive and convenient solution.

Payment Processing Fees: Depending on the payment method you choose, there may be additional processing fees. Common methods include bank transfers, credit card payments, and PayPal. Our sales team can provide information on any applicable fees for your preferred payment method.

Packaging and Handling Fees: There may be nominal fees associated with packaging and handling, especially for custom orders or special packaging requirements. These fees ensure your products are securely packed and protected during transit.

Additional Services: If you require additional services such as custom labeling, specific testing, or certification, there may be extra charges. These services are optional and tailored to meet your specific needs.

Taxes: Depending on your location, you may be subject to sales tax or value-added tax (VAT). These taxes are calculated based on local regulations and will be included in your final invoice.

How to Get an Accurate Quote: To receive a detailed and accurate quote for your order, please contact our sales team with the following information:

    • Type and quantity of batteries you need
    • Shipping destination
    • Preferred shipping method

  • Q Why do lithium-ion batteries have a nominal voltage of 3.6V and 3.7V? What are the differences between them?

A The effective working voltage of a lithium-ion battery is 2.5V to 4.2V. Different battery cell factories have their own agreed standard voltages for their own products in the specification sheets. Some brands agree on a voltage of 3.6V, and some agree on 3.7V. In fact, there is not much difference between them. It is just an agreed value in the product specification sheet. They are both within the normal voltage range of lithium-ion batteries, and their performance and usage in most cases are similar. The difference in the nominal voltage value is mainly due to the different conventions and design choices of different manufacturers.
  • Q Will you provide fake batteries?

A We do not provide fake batteries. When we communicate about a certain model of a certain brand, all our information will be about the original product of this brand and this model. Of course, under the condition that your budget is effective, we will recommend batteries produced by Chinese brands. We will fully display the performance of the products we recommend. If you are more receptive to batteries of Chinese brands, we will continue to discuss the batteries made in China. So please rest assured that we are based on honest business discussions.
  • Q Why is the nominal voltage on the product specification 3.7V, but the voltage I measure upon receiving the battery is 3.4~3.5V?

    A

The difference between the nominal voltage specified on the product datasheet and the voltage you measure upon receiving the battery is due to safety considerations during shipping. Here’s an explanation:

    1. Nominal Voltage vs. Actual Voltage:
The nominal voltage of 3.7V listed on the product specification is an average value representing the battery’s voltage when fully charged and under typical operating conditions. However, batteries are shipped at a lower state of charge for safety reasons.

    2. Safety During Shipping:
To ensure safe transportation, especially for lithium-ion batteries, we ship the batteries at approximately 30% of their full capacity. This lower charge level (3.4~3.5V) helps minimize risks associated with battery transport, such as overheating or short-circuiting.

    3. Achieving Optimal Performance:
Once you receive the battery, it will require charging and discharging through a couple of cycles to reach its optimal performance. After charging the battery fully and using it through one or two discharge cycles, it will stabilize at its nominal voltage of 3.7V and deliver its full capacity.

    4. Battery Condition:
The initial voltage you observe is a normal part of the battery’s shipping and storage process. It does not affect the battery's overall performance or quality.

If you have any concerns or need further assistance with your battery, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service team. We’re here to help ensure you have the best experience with our products.

  • Q Are battery shipments affected by policies? Do you want to know if they can be shipped to your country?

    A

Shipping batteries internationally can be subject to various regulations and policies, depending on the destination country and the type of batteries being shipped. Here’s a detailed guide to help you understand and navigate these policies:

    General Shipping Capabilities:

    • Air, Sea, and Land Transport: We can ship batteries to most countries via air, sea, and land transport. Our experienced shipping partners ensure that all shipments comply with international safety standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Comprehensive Shipping Quotes: We provide detailed shipping quotes that include all relevant fees and costs, ensuring transparency and helping you plan your budget effectively.

    Customs and Import Regulations:

    • Hazardous Material Classification: Batteries, particularly lithium-ion and lithium polymer types, are classified as hazardous materials. This classification means that shipping them is subject to strict regulations to ensure safety during transit.
    • Country-Specific Policies: Some countries have specific restrictions on importing batteries. These restrictions may include limitations on the type, quantity, or capacity of batteries that can be shipped. Our team can assist with understanding and complying with these regulations.
    • Customs Documentation: Batteries may require additional documentation for customs clearance, including safety data sheets (SDS), test reports, and compliance certificates. We provide all necessary documentation to facilitate smooth customs clearance.

    Shipping Solutions:

    • Using Your Own Freight Forwarder: If you have your own freight forwarding company, that is an excellent option. We are happy to work with your chosen freight forwarder to ensure your batteries are shipped according to your preferences.
    • DDP Service (Delivered Duty Paid): For a hassle-free shipping experience, we offer a DDP service where we handle all shipping, customs, and import duties. This service ensures that your batteries are delivered directly to your door, with all fees included in the shipping quote.

How to Confirm Shipping to Your Country:

    • Contact Our Sales Team: If you’re unsure whether we can ship batteries to your country, please contact our sales team with your destination details. Our team will check the relevant regulations and provide you with accurate information.
    • Provide Necessary Information: When contacting us, please provide the type and quantity of batteries you wish to order, as well as your shipping address. This information will help us determine the feasibility of shipping and any specific requirements that may apply.

By understanding these policies and working with our knowledgeable team, you can ensure a smooth and compliant shipping process for your battery orders. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
